“Minority Languages in European Societies”, conference in Turin

Members of the VLingS project, Svetlana Ćirković, Mirjana Mirić, Anđela Redžić and Dušan Vlajić, participated in the conference “Minority Languages in European Societies,” held from July 3 to 6, 2024 in Turin. They presented their research on minority communities conducted as a part of the VLingS project, also showcasing the project itself and some of its findings. Svetlana Ćirković spoke about the presence and visibility of the Romani language in the linguistic landscape in Serbia, while Mirjana Mirić, Anđela Redžić and Dušan Vlajić discussed the similarities and differences in the domains of minority language use in several minority communities included in the VLingS project (Banat Bulgarian, Roma, Ruthenian and Vlach).
