Оn January 26th, 2024, Anđela Redžić and Dalibor Sokolović participated in the conference “Banat Bulgarians – Cultural Heritage, Language, and Literature” at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia, where they presented their research “Domains of Banat Bulgarian Language Use in Serbia”. Anđela and Dalibor highlighted that Banat Bulgarian is primarily used in the private domain, for conversations among family members, while in other domains, especially in public and official language use, it is mostly suppressed not only by the Serbian language, but also by Slovak and Hungarian.
