Vlach Romanian, a Romance variety spoken by the Vlachs of Eastern Serbia, is one of the vulnerable language varieties encompassed by our project. During the last two decades, several systems of transcription for Vlach Romanian have been created. On August 17, 2022, Annemarie Sorescu-Marinković talked in Bor to Ljubiša Niculović (Ljubiša lu Boža Kići), the author of one of the first systems of transcription for the variety. Ljubiša Niculović is also the author of the first Vlach Romanian-Serbian dictionary and of the first translation of the Bible into Vlach Romanian, as well as of several collections of folk songs and fairy tales.
