Romani is one of the vulnerable languages in Serbia encompassed by our project. In June 2022, Svetlana Ćirković and Mirjana Mirić published the book „Gurbet Romani in contact. The analysis of Balkanisms and Serbian loanwords”. We hope that the volume will prompt further research on the Romani varieties in Serbia and wider, and will be a valuable read for both linguists and members of the community.
